MEDICAL FORMS

The BSA requires that every person attending a campout or outdoor activity (whether they be a Scout, accompanying adult or visitor) is required to complete Sections A and B of form 680-001. We refer this this as “Medical forms A and B”, which you can download from this link:

If you or your Scout is attending a longer term campout and requires form C, then you need to use the “Medical forms A, B and C” link below. Note that page C requires a doctors approval. It is best to call your pediatrician or doctor and ask if they can handle this as an admin task, or if you need to set up an appointment. Each provider has different processes.

ANNUAL DUES

2025 fee is $200/Scout.
Please submit by November 15th using Zelle to:  troop841@gmail.comRemember to write the scout name on the payment.


FAQ
1) Why are the dues higher this year?
– There was an increase in Scouting due to Insurance and National fees increases.
2) I received a communication from BSA. Do I have to pay directly to BSA?
– No, the troop will pay on youth and adults behalf.
3) Is there a different fee for registered adults?
– The fee is $65. This will be cover/refunded by the troop for committee members and trained leaders making an impact on the troop.
4) How big is our troop?
– We have 40 Scouts and 24 registered adults.

The ScoutBook website is where we log all our Scouts’ advancement and achievements. This is a core part of Scouting which we take care to do seriously and accurately to preserve the value of the Scouting Program.

YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING (YPT)

The safety and security of our Scouts is of paramount importance. It is mandatory for all BSA-registered volunteers and must be repeated every two years. Training courses are accessible through the my.Scouting.org website (see below).

my.Scouting,org is a website where you can access training courses for all aspects of the Scouting Program, including the mandatory Youth Protection training courses.
