Hello, my name is Aarush Pendyala, a life scout working towards scouting’s highest rank, Eagle. To achieve this, I need to plan and lead a group of people to complete a service project. The project I am choosing to lead is building 4 vegetable wash tables and a free-standing chalk board for the Old Rucker Farm in Alpharetta, GA. The wash tables will make work on the farm more efficient and quicker by giving the workers a proper place to wash of the freshly harvested produce and the chalk board will help the workers on the farm stay more organized, helping the work get done more efficiently and quickly. This project will be completely planned, organized, and led by me. Every donation counts and helps not only me, but also the community.  <\/span><\/p>\n

My name is Julian Angulo and I am a Life Scout working toward the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting. As part of this journey, I am leading a community service project designed to make a lasting, positive impact on Saint Thomas Aquinas church in Alpharetta, GA.<\/span>\n \n

This project will replace an existing compost system that plays an important role in supporting hundreds of families connected to the church. By building a safer, more durable, and more efficient system, the project will help ensure long-term sustainability, stewardship, and continued service to the community.<\/span>

For my Eagle Project I am building two picnic tables, one directional sign and two educational signs at Lakhapani Preserve in Milton. My picnic tables will be at the current location of the Wolff family house, next to the lake.\n My educational signs will go in depth on the history of the Wolff family and on the origins of the name Lakhapani. I am looking forward to improving a beautiful park for everybody in the community. I hope to see you by the\n picnic area when it is completed.<\/p>\n

Project Description: Lakhapani Preserve is one of the newest parks in Milton Ga and to date has no places to rest. For my Eagle Project, I will be building two benches along the shore of the lake located in this park.\n These benches will sit at opposite ends of the lake and will be perfect for fishing, birdwatching, and taking a well-needed rest during a walk.<\/p>\n

For the project, I will create fish habitats, fishing line collectors, informational signs, and stocking the lake to benefit the community fishing. The project will be executed at Lakhapani Preserve Pond. For this project, I am going to 8 natural fish habitats, 6 artificial fish habitats, 4 fishing line collector bins, 2 informational signs, and stocking the lake with an assortment of fish. I am looking forward to this project because I am passionate about fishing and look forward to sharing that passion with the community through this project. <\/span><\/p>\n
